The StockStoneChallenge is a trial to make great StockCar-Series like "NASCAR Nextel Cup" or "Busch Grand National" be available for everybody by using RC-cars. Therefore I want to use an unusual large scale: 1:3 !

The basic idea is to get along with a minimum of technology and lowest costs. Potential Racetracks for entertaining races could be cycling tracks; normal stadium-ovals; industrial-parks or even car-parks etc.

At the moment I'm building the prototype and first testing runs are under way.

Technical features of the original StockCars are supposed to be exactly overtaken. Thus we will have a quite high chassis and an disadvantageous centre of gravity; a rigid axle on the rear and the front one there will be an independent single wheel suspension in double wishbone.

Furthermore the car body will be re-examined concerning points such as optical characteristics and quality through a new or changed production process.

The engine-formula, which will be used, has not been confirmed yet, but certainly the engines will be between 20 and 50 ccm.
